Connection, Celebration, Crepes and Coffee
Morning Glory recognizes the impact of Dufferin County’s nonprofit professionals
There were handshakes and laughter, crepes and cake pops, accolades and kazoos. On February 16, 2024, close to 120 people from 34 charities, nonprofits and service clubs attended Morning Glory, a first-time breakfast event at the Monora Park Pavilion to recognize the sector’s impact in Dufferin County.
The event was part of Nonprofit Appreciation Week across Ontario. In addition to celebrating nonprofit professionals, whose mission-driven work has an enormous impact on our quality of life, the breakfast aimed to instill a sense of mental health and well-being for a sector that can face high levels of burn-out.
Thank you to Dufferin County for the Community Grant that initiated the event and to the Town of Mono for donating the venue.
We are so grateful to our community-minded Morning Glory sponsors, Rotary Orangeville Highlands, Lavender Blue Catering, Carters, Lord Dufferin Centre, Bryan’s Fuel, Crewson’s Insurance and Shelburne Golf and Country Club.
