Fall Grants 2026

Arts & Culture Grants

• For arts-specific organizations in Dufferin County
• $14,125 in total funds available courtesy of the W.&M. Edelbrock Fund.
• 2-3 grants will be awarded; charities are invited to submit how much they require.
• Multi-year funding is available for one applicant (2- or 3-year grant based on need).
• For programs, projects, performances, forums and events that advance local arts and culture

Local Heritage Grants

• $10,000 in total funds are available.
• 1-3 grants will be awarded; charities are invited to submit how much they require. 
• Focus is on initiatives that advance understanding, appreciation and awareness of local community heritage within Dufferin County.
• Thank you to the Mikoliew Mach Fund, the Dufferin Vision Fund, and the Arts, Culture & Local Heritage Fund for making these first-time grants possible.

Environment Fund Grant 

• 2 x $2,500 grants are available.
• Multi-year funding is available for one applicant (2- or 3-year grant based on need). 
• Focus is on innovative approaches to community-based environmental management.
• The grants may be used by environmental organizations for initiatives like programs, projects and research in Dufferin County.

Children & Youth Grant 

• 1 X $5,000 grant is available. 
• For initiatives that enhance the social, physical, mental and intellectual health of children and youth living in Dufferin County and/or provide them with opportunities to develop their skills and talents.
• Funding for the grant is provided by the Dufferin Vision Fund and the Children & Youth Fund.

Refugee Resettlement Fund Grant 

• $4,000 in total funds are available. 
• For charities and groups helping to resettle refugees in Dufferin County.
• We will bring together local charities and sponsor groups for a consensus-based decision on how best to use the funding. If you are interested in participating, please contact Michele Fisher.
