2018 Mini Grant Recipient.
Maureen Riedler, Executive Director of Hospice Dufferin, and Helen Trilesky , a client, received their grant for the Volunteer Visiting Program from Cheryl Greenwood and Amie Zukowski on behalf of Greenwood Aggregates, the foundation`s first Corporate Circle member.
We are so honoured to help support Hospice Dufferin’s Volunteer Visiting Program.
They were one of our grant recipients, recognized at the Dufferin Community Foundation launch event recently. The project will help expand the skills of visiting volunteers to qualify them to conduct hand and foot massages to those suffering with life-limiting illness and the bereaved. Thank you for all you do in our community to bring compassion to those who need it. Hospice supports approx. 400 Dufferin clients and their families every year that are living with a life-limiting illness or bereavement.
